Energy control

Building Control Entity – Energy Efficiency

According to Order 1/2011, any new building that obtains an energy rating of between A and C in the design phase must contract the services of an external Quality Control Entity.

As a New Build Energy Efficiency Control Entity, we fulfil the requirements of RD 410/20074 and are accredited in a quality management system based on ISO 17020.

We are therefore qualified to inspect new and existing buildings, verifying compliance with the Basic Energy Saving Document of the Technical Building Code. The purpose of the Basic HE Document is to establish rules and procedures that enable the basic energy saving requirements to be met.

Following the publication of Order FOM/1635/2013, of 10 September, new and existing buildings are required to meet more restrictive compliance values, which implies an improvement in the energy rating of buildings.
